Predict the result for each separate half in one 90-minute game. For example if Lincoln play Dagenham and lead 1-0 at half time and the game then finishes 1-0 after 90 mins, the result will be settled as Lincoln winning the first half and the draw as the result in the second half.

Asian Line Betting

Asian Line Handicap betting is a form of Soccer betting popular in Asia. The bet type gives a virtual lead to one of the teams, eliminating the possibility of a draw. It reduces an event to only 2 possible outcomes and in doing so, creates a better choice of prices for each match outcome.

Asian Line bets are placed on either the favoured team to overcome a handicap (-goals) or on the opposing team receiving a handicap on top of their actual score (+goals).

For two equally matched teams, the handicap line is 0 or 'level'. If either team wins by any margin they (the winning team) are to be settled as the winning selection. In the event of a draw all bets are void and stakes are refunded.

For unequal contests, the favoured team will be given a handicap (-goals). In Asian betting, goal handicaps are known as 'balls'.

There are two types of Asian Handicap Line:

Simple Handicap (sometimes called Single Handicap)

Bets placed on Simple (whole unit) Handicap Lines (e.g. 0,1,2 ball), can either win on the stated return, lose, or have their stake returned should the result be a draw on the basis of the handicap.

For Example

Handicap line 1 ball

Team giving a full ball start:
  • Win by 2 or more - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Win by exactly 1 - All bets on this selection are void and refunded to the customer.
  • Draw or lose - All bets on this selection are losers.
Team receiving a full ball start:
  • Win by any score or draw - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Lose by exactly 1 - All bets on this selection are void and refunded to the customer.
  • Lose by 2 or more - All bets on this selection are losers.

Bets placed on Simple (non-whole unit) Handicap Lines (e.g. 0.5,1.5,2.5 ball) can only win or lose as a draw will not occur.

For Example

Handicap line 0.5 ball

Team giving a 0.5 ball start:
  • Win by any score - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Draw - All bets on this selection are losers.
  • Lose by any score - All bets on this selection are losers.
Team receiving a 0.5 ball start:
  • Win by any score - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Draw - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Lose by any score - All bets on this selection are losers.

Split Handicap (sometimes called Double or Twin Handicap)

A bet on a Split Handicap Line is split into two parts - one part of the bet is on a whole unit line and one part on a non-whole unit line. If the Handicap line was 1 and 1.5 ball, half the bet would be struck at 1 and the other half at 1.5.

For Example

Handicap line 0/ 0.5 ball

Team giving a 0/ 0.5 ball start:
  • Win by any score - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Draw - Half the stakes are refunded on this selection. The other half of the stake is classed as a loser.
  • Lose by any score - All bets on the selection are losers.
Team receiving 0/ 0.5 ball start:
  • Win by any score - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Draw - Half the stake is settled at the price of the chosen selection. The other half is refunded to the customer.
  • Lose by any score - All bets on the selection are losers.

Handicap line 0.5/ 1 ball

Team giving a 0.5/ 1 ball start:
  • Win by 2 or more - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Win by exactly 1 - Half the stake is settled at the price of the chosen selection. The other half is refunded to the customer.
  • Draw or lose by any score - All bets on this selection are losers.
Team receiving a 0.5/ 1 ball start:
  • Draw or win by any score - All bets on this selection are winners.
  • Lose by exactly 1 - Half the stake is refunded to the customer. The other half is classed as a loser.
  • Lose by 2 or more - All bets on this selection are losers.

B

Both teams to Score

Predict if both teams will score at least one goal.

C

Correct ( Exact ) score

A correct score bet allows you to predict what the final score will be in a game.

D

Divisional betting

All bets are settled on the final League placings irrespective of what happens in the Divisional play-offs. However bets on 'who will win' a League will be settled on the team who lift the trophy. Bets will stand on any team that does not complete all of its fixtures.

Double chance

A double chance bet allows you to cover two of the three possible outcomes in a soccer match with one bet - e.g. Liverpool versus Chelsea would appear as:

  • Home-1 / Draw-X - Liverpool to win / Match to end in a draw
  • 2-2 / Draw-X - Chelsea to win / Match to end in a draw
  • Home-1 / 2-2 - Liverpool to win / Chelsea to win

Draw No Bet (DNB)

Predict the result of the match (1 DNB home team wins or 2 DNB away team wins).
It’s a bet where the draw returns your stake. If the match you have bet ends in a draw, all your money will be returned to you. No profit, no loss.

Draw No Bet is a type of betting offered by many online bookmakers, became quite popular among players and is one of the most popular betting options for special bets.

F

First player to score

A First Player To Score bet allows you to predict which player will score the first goal in a soccer match. Own goals do not count, so if the first goal in a game is an own goal then the next player to score will be deemed the 'First Scorer'. If an own goal is the only goal in a game then 'No Goalscorer' will be settled as the winner for the game.

First team to score

Predict which team will score the first goal in the match.

G

Goal / No Goal

Goal = Both teams to score. No Goal = Either team not to score.

H

Half-time

Predict the result of the first half of this match. All bets apply to the full 45 minutes, plus injury time.

Half time - Full time (Double result)

Predict the result of a match at halftime and fulltime.

For example: If you chose 1/X, you bet on the home team to lead in the first half and the match ending in draw.
H/H - Home team to lead at half time, and win the match.
D/D - The game to be level at half time, and a draw at full time.
A/H - The 2 team to lead at half time, but the home team to win the match.

How will the first goal be scored?

In the 'How will the first goal be scored' markets, customers are betting on whether the first goal in a game will be scored - left leg, right leg, head or any other part of the body.

Own goals do not count for this market.

If the goal is credited to a player but deflects off another player before going in to the goal, that deflection is not taken in to account. For example, if a player hits the ball with his left foot but the ball deflects off a defender's knee in to the goal, 'left foot' remains the winning selection.

I

IBAS

Independent Arbitration Betting Service. An arbitration service which was launched to deal with betting disputes between punters and bookmakers.

L

Last team to score

Bets are settled on the team to score the last goal in a match. Own Goals DO count for this market - e.g. Chelsea are playing Spurs and the last goal is an own goal by a Chelsea player. Spurs are awarded the goal, so Spurs would be the winner in the 'Last team to score' market. Normal 90 minutes betting rules apply.

M

Most Goals

Predict in which half most goals will be scored.

Multibet

Multibet - a bet in which it is required to guess the outcome of more than one event. Several independent events may be combined into a multibet. The multibet bet loses when any of the combined matches loses.

N

Next team to score

Bets are settled on the team to score the next goal in a match. Own goals do count for this market e.g. If Arsenal are playing Spurs and the first goal is an own goal by an Arsenal player then Spurs would be the winner in the first 'Next team to score' market.

O

Odd / Even

Predict if the sum of the goals in this match equals an odd (1, 3, 5…) or even (0,2,4,…)number. In the event of zero goals being scored in this match, the result will be settled as EVEN.

Over / Under - Goal Line

An Over / Under bet allows you to bet on how many goals you think there will be in a game. You can bet on 'Over', 'Under' or 'Exactly' a specified number of goals (usually 3).

Under 2
Bets win if there is either 0 or 1 goal scored in the match. If there are two goals exactly then the stake is returned. Bets lose if there are three or more goals scored in the match.

Over 2
Bets win if there are three or more goals scored in the match. If there are two goals exactly the stake is returned. Bets lose if there is 0 or 1 goal scored in the match.

Under 2.25
Bets win if there is either 0 or 1 goal scored in the match. If there are two goals exactly half the stake will win and half will be returned. Bets lose if there are three or more goals scored in the match.

Over 2.25
Bets win if there are three or more goals scored in the match. If there are two goals exactly half the stake will be returned and half will be lost. Bets lose if there is 0 or 1 goal scored in the match.

Under 2.5
Bets win if there are 0, 1 or 2 goals scored in the match. Bets lose if there are three or more goals scored in the match.

Over 2.5
Bets win if there are three or more goals scored in the match. Bets lose if there are 0, 1 or 2 goals scored in the match.

Under 2.75
Bets win if there are 0, 1 or 2 goals scored in the match. If there are three goals exactly half the stake will be returned and half will be lost. Bets lose if there are four or more goals scored in the match.

Over 2.75
Bets win if there are four or more goals scored in the match. If there are three goals exactly half the stake will win and half will be returned. Bets lose if there are 0, 1 or 2 goals scored in the match.

S

Scorecasts (first player to score and correct score)

To win you must successfully forecast both the player who will score the first goal in a selected match and also the correct score after 90 minutes play.

Scorecasts are available on all matches where correct score and first player to score odds are quoted on this website.

We accept up to trebles on Scorecasts from different matches.

The Scorecast 0-0 and no goalscorer is settled as a correct score single.

If your selected player joins the match after the first goal has been scored or does not take part in the game, Scorecast bets will revert to a single on the correct score.

For first goalscorer purposes, own goals do not count, so in this circumstance, the Scorecast will be settled on the next goalscorer and correct score of the game. If the correct score is 1-0 and the goal is an own goal, Scorecast bets are settled as a correct score single.

If a match is abandoned prior to the completion of 90 minutes and a goal has been scored, Scorecast bets are settled as first goalscorer singles. If no goal has been scored, all bets are void.

Single bet

The most common betting type is single. A Single is a bet on one selection in one event. Your selection must be successful for your bet to win.

T

To Qualify

Predict which team will progress to the next stage of the competition?

To win both halves

The 90 minute match is treated as two separate 45 minute 'mini-matches' and therefore your selection must score more goals than the other team in each of the two halves.

For example, if your selection scores in the first half of a match and the match finishes 1-0, although the first half was won 1-0 , the score in the second 45 minutes was effectively 0-0 and therefore a draw. If this occurs, only the first half is considered to have been 'won' and therefore bets would be losers.

U

Underdog

The team or individual that receives a point start in a handicap. Also known as the dog.

W

Win ( Home - 1 ) / ( Draw X ) / Win (Away - 2)

Predict the result of the match. (1 - home team win, X - draw and 2 - Away team win)
